Claim Your Site In Alexa. It's Totally Free!


While searching Alexa rank of some site you may seen the description of sites. Below the portion of logo. Wondering how they kept their Description, does Alexa kept itself or the site owner did this ?
Alexa will not do it itself, but it provide a tools through which any of the site owner can kept his description in Alexa. Today we are giving some tips to keep your blog/site description in alexa. 
After going through the step by step you will be able to keep your Blog/Site description in Alexa. 
  • Go to Alexa.com and create your account. 
  • You will find Create a New Account on the Right Top of Site. 
  • No need to take lots of time. You can log on to Alexa from your Facebook account.
  • Now go to Site owner Page from Here
  • Type the name of your site. I have typed URL of my site. (see the Image Below)
After Hitting the Claim your site Button You will be redirected to new page. Where you can see the list of Plans and its pricing. Claiming own site in Alexa is free. Click on the Free Sign Up Button showing on the Leftmost side of the page.
Now you will be redirected to the final page. There are 2 option for you. First Option is to download a file and  Upload the file to the root directory of your site. Second option is to Use a Meta Tag. If you are using Blogging Platform I recommend you to use second Option It is very Easy.
In Order to Paste it in Template. Log in To your Blogger Account >> Template >> HTML Editor >> Find the code <head> paste already copied Meta Content Just Below It.
Save your Template You are done.
In order to check Whether your site is verified or not. Just click on the Verify My ID showing on the Alexa Page. You must get the Result like this.


Fill Up Your Description


Check Continue Button, you will be redirected to new Page. This page is for Your Blog/Site Description and Public Site Listing. You can keep your Contact Address. Email Address of your site. And many More.
