Feminism, beauty and Media

It is said that beauty is only skin-deep. But is is rather misleading and surficial concept. I think, the concept of beauty has psychological, social, commercial, sexual and above all existential implication.With the emergence of Feminism in Europe and America, Feminist always speaks against the commercialization of female body and sex. They always try to make Female aware about the exploitation of Female body and beauty. They again and again tell the Female that modern society tries to convert Female sex into commercial and cosmetic articles. They present the idea that beauty is very is very short lived and transitory male tempts female towards their skin deep beauty and tries to trap Female in their own vanity. In modern world, media is very powerful weapon for propaganda and advertisement. In modern world, most of the media are controlled by male. They use the media & beauty industries to manipulate female to fall at he trap of beauty. In that way, in a very cumming way, media trap and sell the female beauty and sex.

In modern world, world beauty becomes trap to them. In spite of all these warnings and consciousness, most of the female still like to be called beautiful and amazing. Then question comes in mind why female still has this craze for beauty. I think this instinct for beauty iin Female is not due to economic class and gender condition; It is not only due to some psychological and social situation. I think, the concept of beauty and sex touches the basic roots of the female's life. Female feel that her biological destiny always corresponds with the rhythm of nature. Nature has sap and water to nourish life. Female has also cycle of blood of nourish life. Nature generates life-She also generate life. So, she feels deep inside that she is a beautiful flower; she is a running spring; she is a twinkling star; she is a precious stone. Within her, she carries all the beauty and magic of nature. Therefore she is a magic of life. That deep feeling of magic and life always inspires her to be beautiful. And she wants to use that magic to tempt the male.
